Espressioni Interrogative
To ask questions in Italian, you can use specific interrogative words. They help you find out who, what, where, when, why, and how.
Main Interrogatives

Notes
- Interrogative expressions usually appear at the beginning of the question.
- Intonation in spoken Italian often marks a question even without inversion.
- “Che” is more informal than “che cosa.”
