Giulia Balicchia is an Italian language specialist, educator, and coach with a lifelong connection to Italian culture, learning, and sport. Born and raised in Italy and now based in the United States, she founded Italology to share Italian culture through language, food, and meaningful experiences for all ages.
What began as a blog dedicated to Italian living has grown into Italology Ventures LLC, a professional platform that brings together Italian language education, culinary experiences, and fencing coaching under one cohesive identity.
At the heart of Italology is the Italian language. Through personalized tutoring and professional language services, we support students and clients who want to learn Italian, refine their skills, or use the language confidently in real-world contexts. Lessons are tailored, accessible, and culturally informed.
Food is a core pillar of Italology. Italian cuisine is about tradition, family, and connection. Through hands-on cooking classes, private chef experiences, and group cooking parties for youth and adults, we share authentic Italian recipes inspired by family traditions and regional cultures.
Italology also embraces fencing, a historic sport that reflects discipline, focus, and personal growth. Drawing from Giulia’s background as a fencer and coach, we offer fencing instruction for youth and adults in collaboration with Epic Fencing Club Atlanta. Programs include private lessons, group classes, and fencing parties designed to build confidence, technique, and enjoyment of the sport.
